Demonstrating Swaranidhi at Madras Music Academy
PERFORMANCE OF 72 MELAKARTA RAAGAS BY SWARAVEENAPANI AT
MADRAS MUSIC ACADEMY,CHENNAI
On invitation from the Madras Music Academy , Swaraveenapani demonstrated on the 24th of Dec 2014, his extraordinary composition amidst applause and adulation to the august audience comprising Veterans of Music, Musicologists , performing artists and discerning and knowledgeable rasikas. The legendary Hyderabad brothers endorsed this composition by not only rendering it melifluosuly but also elaborating on the amazing aspects of this unique creation of swaraveenapani. The Conference Chair, Dr PAPPU and the Sangeetha Kalanidhi designate Padmabhushan T.V.GOPALAKRISHNAN while introducing veenapani as his ekalavya shishya,he endorsed the creation as an incredible fete and a very useful tool for the students of music. Veenapani, in his humble way reminds the people around him that this by no means washis accomplishment , and that he remains but a medium and he wishes to pass on the vitality of Indian music to the generation next.
Brochure Inauguration of Swaranidhi
In TANA (Telugu association of North America ) mahasabha , at Dallas in 2013 under the President ship of Thotakura Prasad, Convener Vennam Murali and other executive members’ presence the brochure of Svaranidhi was inaugurated by the then Central minister Chiranjeevi and the first copy was received by Sp Balasubrahmanyam. Poet and lyric Writer Jonnaviththula, President, literary and cultural affairs Mandali Budhdha Prasad and Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao were present.
Tanikella Bharani who has been there behind every achievement of Veenapani designed the brochure and was there on that occasion. It has been TANA’s moment of pride to have recognized for the first time the magnitude of Swaranidhi.
