SWARA VEENAPANI

Meet Swaraveenapani

Swaraveenapani is born in Ravela village, Tadikonda mandal in Guntur district to Mrs. Seetha Annapurnamma and Mr. Vogeti Lakshmi Narasimha Sasthry. He completed primary education in Ravela village itself and then proceeded to Guntur to do his graduation course in Hindu college there.

Then completed graduation in Law in C R Reddy college, Eluru.

Along with his primary education, he did start to learn classical music from his father and playing Harmonium too.

While practicing law Ramana Murty ( Name put by parents ), in Guntur Sri Sri Sri Viswayogi Viswamji Maharaj introduced him as a music director to the world. Viswageetamala, their first album was recorded in Tenali. Thus Swaraveenapani started his journey.

His friend Annapureddy Srinivasa Reddy produced Chennakesava Bhakthimala, a devotional album On Lord Chennakesava in Ramana murthy’s music direction.

Both the songs in these albums were written by Ramana murthy only.

Then the hat trick work was produced and sung by none other than legendary Telugu singer Mrs. P. Suseela. Receiving the remuneration from her is a divine blessing for Ramana murthy.

Again both works of lyric writing and composing music were done by young Ramana murthy.

Noted dialogue writer, actor and director Tanikella Bharani changed the name of Ramana murthy to Veenapani and Introduced him to Director Siva Nageswara Rao who went on to make him direct music for the film Pattukondi Choodhdhaam.

Later Writer - Director – Producer Janardhan Maharshi gave an opportunity to Veenapani to write and compose songs for his film Devasthanam. He added Swara to the name of Veenapani.

Then Tanikella Bharani took Veenapani’s services for his maiden directorial venture Midhunam. This film got ample recognition for Veenapani.

He has provided music for some other films like Time pass, All-rounder etc.

Similarly Veenapani is behind the philosophical works of Tanikella Bharani, like Aata kadharaa Siva… Nalona Sivudu galadu etc. These works gave immense pleasure to Veenapani besides job satisfaction. Perhaps these prayers led Veenapani to invent Swaranidhi.
